Who is responsible
This website, plotlineproperty.com, and the Plotline channel are run by Plotline, an independent publisher based in the European Union. We are responsible for your data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Contact: hello@plotlineproperty.com.
What this website collects
- No cookies, no accounts, no forms. You can read everything without giving us anything.
- Hosting. The site is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare processes the technical data every website request contains, such as your IP address and browser type. We do not receive or store it. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Visitor counts. We count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify or follow you between sites. We see totals only, such as how many people read a page.
- Your light or dark setting. If you use the theme switch, your choice is saved in your own browser's storage so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device.
- Videos. Videos are not embedded until you choose to play one. Links to our videos take you to YouTube, where Google's privacy policy applies.
If you email us
We keep your message and address to answer you, and, for error reports, as part of our record of corrections. We do not use your address for anything else and never share it. Ask us and we delete it, unless it is part of a published correction, in which case we remove your name.
Our publishing tool
We use a private tool, which only we use, to upload our own videos to our own Plotline accounts on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. It does not collect any information about viewers or about anyone else's account.
- What it stores: the access keys each platform gives us when we log in to our own accounts, kept only on our own computer, and the details of the videos we upload (titles, descriptions, upload dates, the platform's video identifiers and links).
- What it never does: read, store or share data about people who watch, like or comment on our videos.
- How long: access keys are deleted when we stop using a platform or withdraw the tool's access; video details are kept as part of our publishing records.
YouTube
The tool uses YouTube API Services to upload our videos, thumbnails, subtitles and video details to our own channel. YouTube's Terms of Service apply, and Google's use of data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. Access can be withdrawn at any time on the Google account permissions page.
Instagram and Facebook
The tool uses Meta's APIs to publish reels and videos to our own Instagram account and Facebook Page. Access can be withdrawn in Facebook's settings under "Business integrations" or Instagram's under "Apps and websites". Meta's privacy policy applies to Meta's own use of data.
TikTok
The tool uses TikTok's Content Posting API to place our videos in our own account's drafts. Access can be withdrawn in TikTok's settings under "Security" and "Manage app permissions". TikTok's privacy policy applies to TikTok's own use of data.
Deleting your data
The only personal data we can hold about you is an email you sent us. To have it deleted, write to hello@plotlineproperty.com from that address and we delete it within 30 days and confirm.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. Write to the address above. You can also complain to the data protection authority of the EU country where you live or work, or where you believe your rights were broken.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
